STAR TREK III Not to be Recut Into Director's Edition for Upcoming DVD |

Dept: General Star Trek
The Digital Bits web site has posted the Paramount confirmation that STAR TREK III: THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK will only be a Collector's Edition and not a Director's Edition like STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE and the forthcoming August release of STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN. The movie is expected be released by the end of 2002 and while no information is yet available about the nature of the extras on the disc, we can more than likely expect commentaries from cast and crew, deleted scenes, and more.
