Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

As reported recently, Virtual Conventions, LLC is launching the world's first ever online 3D virtual STAR TREK convention experience in August, broadcasting live from the Creation Entertainment Las Vegas event.
Using new technology, Vir-Con 2002 will allow guests to enter a virtual convention lobby, take on a 3D STAR TREK-themed persona, chat with fans from all over the world, take part in special virtual convention events, and see live video feeds of the activities at the Las Vegas event.
Vir-Con 2002 announced its pricing scheme last week, offering various different levels of participation. Ranging from a video feed-only Pay-Per-View one-day package at $9.95 USD ($29.95 for three days) to a three-day participation package for $39.95 USD, tickets are now on sale from within the center kiosks in the virtual lobby. One day passes are available for $14.95 USD and even more special upgrade packages are priced for unique experiences. Check out TrekWeb's Friday story for more information.
Now, Vir-Con 2002 is offering a special registration offer to TrekWeb's visitors. Every TrekWeb visitor who is a valid registered user, or who signs up for an account, will receive a special 15% discount on tickets to the event!
All you have to do is login with your email address and password below and once your information is verified, you'll be given the special code to receive the discount.
If you don't have an account with TrekWeb yet, you can Join Now for free. TrekWeb accounts allow you to post in the TrekWeb Talkback section as well as the STAR TREK BBS.
