Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Dept: Star Trek: Nemesis
In a new short interview with Sci-Fi Wire, Marina Sirtis echoes comments by other TNG cast members over the last few months when talking about NEMESIS director Stuart Baird. Baird directed EXECUTIVE DECISION and U.S. MARSHALS before tackling the tenth TREK like it was the first.
"Stuart doesn't have the knowledge of Star Trek that anyone who's been involved with the show—whether it's Jonathan or even [TNG and Generations director] David Carson or the actors—would just naturally have," Sirtis said. "We have butted heads a little bit, because we'll say, 'This is the history,' and Stuart will say, 'Well, I don't really care about the history. I'm approaching this like it's the first Star Trek movie.'"
Sirtis goes on to say that there's certainly enough experience behind the scenes to make sure fans are satisfied.
"John Logan certainly knows the show inside and out. So if it's fresh and familiar at the same time, we could really be on to something."
Check out the rest of the interview here.
