Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses, bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices, check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away from home.

Dept: TrekWeb Features

Over the last five days TrekWeb has received its three highest trafficked days in its history. Thursday alone saw the site receive over five times its average daily traffic, beating the previous record-setting day (Wednesday) by almost two to one.

Thanks to the exciting news about STAR TREK: NEMESIS over the weekend and the release of the teaser trailer Wednesday night, together with on-screen television promotion of the site on USA Network, the first big scoop about ENTERPRISE's second season and hordes of original interviews and articles of late, TrekWeb has cruised into the record books in recent days.

Let me take this opportunity to welcome all the newcomers who have discovered the site recently; I sincerely hope you like what you've seen and will become regular visitors. Also let me extend a warm thanks to all those who have loyally visited TrekWeb over the nearly six years we've been online.

I have some exciting news to share with you and I'd like to start with a brief update about the STAR TREK BBS. TrekWeb's bulletin board system is operating faster than ever and there has never been a better time to join the conversation! Here are some threads worth checking out:

You can post a new discussion instantly by using the "Start new discussion" button under "Community" in the left-hand menu. Remember, you can also post your response to any of TrekWeb's news stories or articles in the TrekWeb Talkback sections at the bottom of the pages.

There's no time like the present to talk about the ways you can help support TrekWeb. First, everyone can take part in our new Demographics Survey to help us collect important information about our audience to better market the site to potential advertisers.

One of the most effective ways of helping TrekWeb is to sign up for a free Netflix trial. While you may be skeptical about renting DVDs through the mail, Steve Krutzler has been a Netflix member for quite some time and can personally vouch for the value of unlimited DVD rentals for $20 a month! That's four movies at the rental store, and there are absolutely NO LATE FEES with Netflix, postage is paid and since you can check out three movies at once, you constantly have a stream of new rentals arriving in your mailbox. All you do is add the movies you want to your queue list and stick the discs in the pre-paid envelopes for shipping back to Netflix once you're done viewing.

Recently, we've also established a relationship with Unbeatabledeals.com to offer several STAR TREK software titles for FREE. You only pay the shipping on these items and every purchase helps TrekWeb.

If software isn't your bag, baby, we have an affiliation with AllPosters.com to bring you great deals on the latest (or classic) movie posters.

THE NEXT GENERATION's third season DVD set hits the street Tuesday and you can pre-order the title from Amazon.com and a portion of your purchase will go to TrekWeb. Don't miss TrekWeb's in-depth review of the set here. You can also pre-order your copy of STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN - THE DIRECTOR'S EDITION DVD, hitting streets August 6th.

Finally, don't forget that TrekWeb is one of the most affordable places to advertise! Check out our Promenade Classifieds section for all the details on how you can place an ad here in minutes!

Remember, clicking on all the various banner ads that we have also helps keep our sponsors happy. Thanks for your support!
