Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses, bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices, check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away from home.

    Dept: Star Trek: Nemesis

STAR TREK: NEMESIS co-star Ron Perlman ('Viceroy') recently spoke with CountingDown.com about his newest project, Guillermo del Toro’s HELLBOY, but also had some brief comments about his STAR TREK experience.

"I was in a Star Trek movie finally," he told David Server. "Whenever one finishes a film, one just hopes for the best because there’s so many ways a film can go right, and so many ways a film can go wrong. And the minute you walk off the set you have no control over any of that stuff."

Perlman says he was impressed with the professionalism of the STAR TREK production team and the script for NEMESIS.

"I can say for sure that when you walk onto the set to do a Star Trek movie, it’s such a venerable iconic part of the American cultural quilt, that you really feel kinda blessed that you got asked to the dance. And that was kinda cool – make that picture on the Paramount lot, with all the bells and whistles for it, and to now say in my own little way, I’ve contributed to the arc. I hope it turns out great, it was a wonderful script, that much I do know."

He also has high praise for his young co-star Tom Hardy, who plays the villain Shinzon in the film.

"The guy who I play opposite is this young British actor named Tom Hardy, who I really enjoyed watching. He’s a very young guy, at the total beginning of his career, and he just handles himself like he’s been doing this for 30 years."
