Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

STAR TREK stalwart will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his extensive carrer in film and television at the 2002 Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival this September.
The actor's newest film project, the sci-fi film GROOM LAKE that Shatner wrote and directed, will be screened at the festival.
Festival director Jo Moulton said Shatner is the epitome of what the award stands for.
"He has been involved in front and behind the camera, television and movies. He is longevity."

In other news, ENTERPRISE co-star John Billingsley (Phlox) has announced on his official web site that he has been cast in a supporting role alongside Hollywood superstar Denzel Washington in the upcoming film OUT OF TIME. Directed by Carl Franklin from a David Collard script, the crime drama has been shooting since May and Billingsley is expected to be involved until September, well into the ENTERPRISE production schedule.
The Internet Movie Database provides the following plot summary of the film set for release next year:
"A small town police officer is involved in a torrid affair with a woman for whom he's always carried a torch - so much so that he steals money from the evidence room to run away with her. When she double crosses him, he discovers she set up the affair as a selfish ruse and vows to seek revenge."
Happy Independence Day from TrekWeb!
