Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Dept: Star Trek: Nemesis
In a new interview appearing at Sci-Fi Wire, STAR TREK: NEMESIS scribe John Logan says he made an effort to get to know the TNG cast as he set about to write the tenth big-screen adventure.
"I got along very well with Patrick [Stewart] immediately, and [the cast] made an effort to get to know me," he said. "We'd go out and have dinner. We'd go to parties together. I made an effort to get to know them and to have meetings with each one of them. It would be the height of arrogance on my part to say to Marina Sirtis, 'I know Deanna [Troi] better than you do. Let me tell you how she would react.' My job as a writer is to be a cannibal of their ideas. They've lived with these people for 15 years. So I could sit down and say, 'Here's the situation for Riker [Jonathan Frakes]. Here's what happens. Help me. Help me think how he would respond. Give me the words he would respond with. Give me the ideas. Give me the ramifications of what certain things mean to him.' So the cast, in my experience, was invaluable. They were very kind to me, very welcoming and very helpful just in terms of developing the story."
