Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses, bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices, check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away from home.

In a recent online chat with the newly-launched Roddenberry.com actor Walter Koenig expressed his plans to develop a new science fiction film with fellow TREK actors Robert Picardo and John deLancie.

"I'm currently trying to put together a science fiction feature film that I have written and would be doing one of the leading roles in. I have both Robert Picardo and John DeLancie in verbal agreement to participate in the film," he told fans.

But unlike other former TREK actors Koenig says he isn't interested in writing TREK fiction.

"I have no burning interest in writing trek fiction. My feeling is that I would rather create my own universe with my own characters."

Koenig also says he has strong feelings about the original STAR TREK series and its predecessors, feelings that keep from objectively watching any of the four series since.

"I watched the first episode of ENTERPRISE... and found it entertaining. You must understand that I have territorial feelings about the original series and I find it difficult to view any of the others with anything approaching objectivity."

TOS and TNG producer Bob Justman also spoke with the site and talked about the budgetary pressures on the original series's final season.

"The hardest decision was feeling I had to walk away near the end of the 3rd and final season. There was no way we could maintain the quality that we wanted given what little resources were available to us by the new ownership of the studio. But you can't blame the studio for trying to cut it's losses given he general knowledge that the third season was the last season," Justman recalled.
