Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

According to St. Louis Post-Dispatch, STAR TREK fans in America's heartland will have reason to cheer next season as local station WHSL Channel 46, currently the Home Shopping Network, will become UPN46, the market's first affiliate for the fifth-ranked television network.
The changeover won't take place until April 1st and unfortunately, there is currently no deal in place to air UPN's two popular programs ENTERPRISE and BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER in St. Louis for the coming season. Previously, the WB affiliate KPLR Channel 11 aired the two shows as part of a sharing agreement with Paramount Stations Group. KPLR is not renewing the programming and despite WHSL's attempts to induce the Home Shopping Network to free up two hours of programming each week, station manager Gregg Filandrinos says it's not likely to happen.
"UPN is shopping the shows around to other stations, hoping to find someone to pick them up," but he admits HSN has no incentive to allow the programming change.
The switch to UPN will include a new facility in its current location and a new sales manager. To read more details check out this page.
