Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

DVD File reports today that the STAR TREK III: THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK Special Edition DVD will hit U.S. streets on October 8th. A two-disc set the package will retail for $29.95. The movie will not be recut into a director's edition, as STAR TREK II has been for its August 6th release.
In related news, DS9 guest actor J.G. Hertzler ('Martok') revealed at the recent Kulture Shock revent on July 14th that he has been hired to produce the bonus extras for the forthcoming STAR TREK IV: THE VOYAGE HOME Special Edition DVD.
"I am doing some documentaries for the 4th Star Trek film DVD," Hertzler told fans at the UK event. "I'm in charge of all the DVD extras. We're actually hoping to put in some of the 'dailies', i.e. rough cuts into the DVD."
For the full report of the event, which also featured DS9 and TNG actor Robert O'Reilly ('Gowron'), visit this page.
