Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Creation Entertainment's Las Vegas, NV convention this weekend drew guests from all over the TREK mythos, from NEMESIS cast members Marina Sirtis to makeup artist Michael Westmore to ENTERPRISE exec Brannon Braga.
Westmore presented a slide show of STAR TREK: NEMESIS clips, according to TrekWeb correspondant Robnhud. Showing photographs of Data with B-9's head on the planet Kolarus III, Remans in full makeup and other stills of the makeup department's work in the upcoming feature, Westmore beamed with an enthusiasm unseen during the last few TNG-era films.
Elsewhere, Brannon Braga's remarks were about ENTERPRISE wer mostly general. Assuring fans of adherence to STAR TREK continuity and offering ambiguity regarding the Temporal Cold War storyline are high atop his discussions of late.
"We'll [continue it] as long as it's fresh," he said according to a TrekToday correspondant. The producer also dropped hints about Daniels, the time-traveller who brought Archer to the 31st century in the finale "Shockwave": "Daniels isn't completely human. He's not really what he seems," Braga said.
He also weighed in on one of hot-button topics in STAR TREK fandom of late -- the question of whether a homosexual character will ever appear on STAR TREK.
"It's a good question. To introduce a character and to call attention to it? There has to be a reason [for that character] to be [in the series]...without seeming obvious or to be catering to people," he said.
On the continuity front, Braga says the producers were mindful of the various issues from the very beginning: "It's not a problem, because we made an all-around decision to stay true to continuity."
More reports are sure to abound during the week and if you attended the Vegas show, drop us a line with your report.
