Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home.

Dept: Star Trek: Nemesis
Hollywood trade paper Variety reports today on the 2002 Holiday movie season, saying it's one of the most crowded ever. STAR TREK: NEMESIS, the tenth in franchise history, opens on the second Friday of December.
"Big films, including a record 10 sequels and remakes, bulge the release schedule nearly every weekend between Nov. 1 and Dec. 27, punctuated by a 13-pic year-end traffic jam of films with Oscar pretensions," writes the trade.
Listed as one of the four biggest sequels in the season, NEMESIS will be up competing for space against the twentieth James Bond installment, DIE ANOTHER DAY on November 22nd, the second HARRY POTTER on November 15th, and the second LORD OF THE RINGS on December 20th. Two weeks before NEMESIS debuts on December 13th, the Steven Soderberg and George Clooney remake of the sci-fi film SOLARIS will hit theaters November 27th. That film already moved off of NEMESIS' release day, providing some much needed breathing room.
TREK won't be alone on Friday the 13th, however, as two powerful stars ring in the season with comedies. Jackie Chan will tumble into theaters in SHANGHAI KNIGHTS and Jenifer Lopez mops up in THE CHAMBERMAID.
