Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses, bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices, check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away from home.

The Great Link has transcribed some additional plot information for the first two episodes of the second season of ENTERPRISE appearing in the latest issue of SFX Magazine in the United Kingdom.

The second episode of the year, shot first, is "Carbon Creek." While we know it features mainly Jolene Blalock as T'Pol's grandmother in an episode taking place largely in 1957 Pennsylvania, little has been revealed about the episode's plot until now.

According to spoilers in the magazine, "Creek" opens as the crew is undergoing evaluations and T'Pol is to evaluate Archer for the benefit of the Vulcan High Command. Trip and Archer and T'Pol share a drink over the issue and the male officers encourage the Vulcan to share the story of her ancestor.

Apparently her grandmother was aboard a small Vulcan ship observing Earth in 1957 when the Russians have just launched Sputnik. The Vulcans have a problem with their ship are are forced to crash land in Carbon Creek, Pennsylvania. The survivors of the crash blend in with the locals, taking part in billiards and local repair work, and even one remains on Earth after the others are rescued.

Archer and Trip don't believe the far-fetched tale (perhaps like the audience?) until T'Pol presents a red purse acquired by her grandmother while on Earth.

While the majority of the premiere, "Shockwave, Part II," was revealed by TrekWeb on June 26th (see mission log below), the magazine offers some interesting new tidbits. Chiefly, that Archer and Daniels construct a cross-space time communicator using low-tech materials in the devastated 31st Century to contact T'Pol in the 22nd Century. When Reed goes into Daniels' quarters to retrieve a futuristic device to use against the occupying Suliban on the Enterprise -- docked at the Suliban Helix -- he is caught by Silik. But then Archer appears, attacking Silik and destroying the device.

Meanwhile, Trip has faked a warp core breach, causing the Suliban to tow the NX-01 away from their starbase. The Enterprise escapes into warp and after evidence shows Archer and crew had nothing to do with the destruction of the alien colony featured in Part I, the Vulcans reluctantly agree that the mission may continue -- but only after T'Pol vouches for Archer and her shipmates.
