Psi Phi just posted the cover artwork and info for the upcoming 'Starfleet Survival Guide' Trade Paperback, written by David Mack and scheduled for publication in September 2002.

According to editor Jessica McGivney, "It is a survival manual as might be provided to Starfleet personnel in the TNG and DS9 era."

The new entry to the TREK reference line will pay particular attention to survival strategies for Starfleet officers without the benefit of their futuristic technology. Insights will be offered on survival situations from famous TREK characters and the book will feature black and white line illustrations meant for "practical" use.

In other book news, Psi Phi has made available the back cover copy of the next new ENTERPRISE novel, SURAK'S SOUL, by author J.M. Dillard:
