Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Anime producer Michael Thomas Harrison sends word that several STAR TREK alumni are provisionally attached to a new anime-style animation project co-written by Harrison and Jeff Buchanan, the son of famed B-movie director Larry Buchanan.
BATTLE FORCE: ANDROMEDA will be an anime-style animated television series focusing on a dark story including elements of science fiction, horror, action and romance, according to Harrison. The premise finds the Andromeda Galaxy ruled tyrannically by the evil 'Lord Xanatar' for decades, oppressing all inhabitants and enslaving others. The series will follow a small band of resistence fighters, known as The Insurgents, who arise to vanquish Xanatar under the leadership of 'Kronos'.
Several STAR TREK personalities have provided letters of intent, according to Harrison, to voice various characters in the series. David Warner ('Chancellor Gorkon' in ST6, 'Federation Ambassador' in ST5) is provisionally attached to provide the vocals for Lord Xanatar while Kurtwood Smith ('Federation President' in ST6, 'Annorax' in VOY's "Year of Hell") is interested in the rebel leader, Kronos.
VOYAGER's Captain Janeway, Kate Mulgrew, has expressed an interest in voicing 'Queen Tyris' (pictured above) and Tony Todd (TNG's 'Kurn', 'old Jake Sisko' in DS9's "The Visitor") is attached to 'Mondar', a brave beast-like character in the resistence group. STAR TREK's newest Vulcan, Jolene Blalock has expressed an interest in providing the voice for the character 'Nightshade'. Other actors attached to the project include Jennifer Lien ('Kes'), as the 19-year-old freedom fighter with a smile on her face, 'Alora', and Clancy Brown (ENT's "Desert Crossing") as 'The Game Master'.
"I've always had the greatest respect for animation and have always seen it as another form of storytelling, not just as a kiddie show," says Harrison.
BATTLE FORCE: ANDROMEDA is currently under consideration at Bakula Productions,
Urban Vision Entertainment, Public Eye Entertainment, Scout Productions and
Rising Phoenix Entertainment, and Harrison hopes to sell cable premium channels Showtime or HBO on the series.
