Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Dept: Star Trek: Nemesis
TNG actor Wil Wheaton posted a new update at his web site WilWheaton.net today about the status of the tenth STAR TREK feature and his own cameo in the movie. He says that producer Rick Berman called personally to relay news that his brief appearance had to be excised to make room for what is looking to be a mammoth reel.
Wheaton says Berman told him that his cameo, which would've been the first time we've seen 'Wesley Crusher' since seventh season TNG episode "Journey's End," had to be cut because it wasn't essential to the overall story of the picture. According to Wheaton, the initial cut of NEMESIS weighed in at a whopping three hours and they've already cut 48 minutes of footage, more than an entire episode! In addition, Wheaton reports that Berman says the entire beginning of the movie was being considered for significant cuts.
The actor who turns 30 on Monday says he asked Berman about rumors that director Stuart Baird caused strife amongst the cast.
"He tells me that it was tough, because the director had his own vision," Wheaton writes. "There were struggles, but ultimately they collaborated to make a great film."
Read more of Wheaton's article at WilWheaton.net.
