Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses, bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices, check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away from home.

Dept: TrekWeb Features

Last month TrekWeb challenged new users to originate a discussion topic on our new forums in exchange for a chance to win a FREE copy of the STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN - THE DIRECTOR'S EDITION DVD. To qualify, the first fifty new users had to post a topic that generated substantive replies from at least ten different users (including one self-reply).

Today TrekWeb is pleased to congratulate both winners, Kevan Cummings of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Karl Stromeyer of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England! Here at TrekWeb we've come to know each as sttngfan1701d and Logic Incarnate.

Cummings qualified with his post The mysterious corridors in Star Trek V on the Shore Leave forum for general discussion. Meanwhile, Stromeyer made the cut with his topic TOS style music and scenic music in ENT? on the new Suliban Helix forum for ENTERPRISE discussion.

The build-the-boards contest may be over, the with the season premiere of ENTERPRISE just a month away and the release of the highly-anticipate tenth STAR TREK feature film coming this December, it's never been a better time to join TrekWeb's STAR TREK BBS!

The new Divine Treasury forum is beginning to forge a community of STAR TREK book readers and The Holodeck forum continues to teem with lively conversation about Fan Fiction and the AstroBar, a laid back community of members who have taken up residence there.

Some of the interesting topics in the forums recently have included:

Remember that we've started listing interesting topics in the left-hand side bar below the "Air Schedule" box on all TrekWeb pages. Check there for regularly changing links to active topics all over TrekWeb's STAR TREK BBS forums.

It's also never too late for you to help support TrekWeb. One of the most helpful things visitors can do is take our brief Demographics Survey. This is completely free and anonymous and helps us compile better information to market the site to sponsors who will help keep TrekWeb coming to you free, every day far into the future.

You can also still take advantage of several FREE STAR TREK software packages from UnbeatableDeals. These are fully-licensed software packages for which you only pay the shipping! Every purchase helps support TrekWeb and gives you a wonderful bargain.

In addition, the first issue of TrekWeb's new email newsletter, the TrekWeb News Nexus, went out earlier this month. Full of news round-ups, event calendars and original articles and features, it's never too late to join!.

Thanks to everyone for your continued support!
