Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

USA Network announced today what many had speculated: a second season for former STAR TREK producer Michael Piller's new cable series, THE DEAD ZONE. According to a release from USA, the show will resume production in September in Vancouver for a return to first-run episodes early in 2003. The first season or cycle finale will air in mid-September.
"From the moment we saw the pilot, we knew that The Dead Zone had all the
elements of a hit show -- the pedigree of Stephen King, a compelling star in
Anthony Michael Hall leading a terrific cast, and Michael Piller, a
showrunner with vision and the passion to see it through," said Jeffrey Wachtel, executive vice president for UDA.
"We look forward to many seasons of success with Lions Gate and the creative
team."
THE DEAD ZONE became the most successful original cable drama series after averaging a 4.7 household rating and 6.4 million viewers. The series stars Anthony Michael Hall and DEEP SPACE NINE's Nicole deBoer. Former TNG and VOY writer Joe Menosky served as executive consultant for the first saons and former DS9 and VOY writer Michael Taylor serves as co-producer.
