Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Former VOYAGER actress and ENTERPRISE director Roxann Dawson took the reigns yet again to direct the fifth episode of the new season, "Dead Stop" (first revealed Tuesday here in TrekWeb's John Billingsley interview), according to the official STAR TREK web site.
The episode, which involves an automated alien repair station, shot for seven days and took place largely in new interior sets for this new alien locale. Post production will also bring the alien facility to "life" as a character unto itself with visual effects.
The report also describes some of the behind-the-scenes processes involved in producing the series, such as the fact that visual effects producer Dan Curry was directing the second unit and actor Dominic Keating in additional exterior shots for "Minefield" even as "Dead Stop" continued elsewhere.
"Dead Stop" is written by ENTERPRISE and former VOYAGER writers Mike Sussman and Phyllis Strong ("Strange New World," "Detained"). Dawson previously directed ENT's "The Andorian Incident" and "Vox Sola."
