Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Dept: Star Trek: Nemesis
IGN Film Force has debuted a brand new promotional photograph from STAR TREK: NEMESIS, the first look at a brand new Romulan Warbird, the 'Valdore'. According to the script, this new design will be commanded by the Romulan 'Donatra' (Dina Meyer) as part of the villain, Shinzon's, Romulan fleet.
The new design is an evolution of the warbird designs featured throughout all the series but with a sleeker and more bird-like look. The wingspan is wide and the color scheme remains gray, green and silver. This new ship design will accompany the Reman Warbird 'Scimitar' and refitted and enhanced Romulan Warbirds in the movie.
Information on the official movie web site reveals that this new class of Warbird is a D'Deridex Class flagship of the Romulan Empire. At 1,280 meters it is twice as long as a Federation Starship, it has 115 decks and carries a complement of 1,650 personnel. Weaponry includes plasma torepedoes and disruptor cannons.
Expect this to be only one of many new and exciting visual treats being readied for the action-packed finale of the film. NEMESIS involves hundreds of effects shots, more than any previous STAR TREK feature. Head on over to IGN Film Force for a very high resolution image of this impressive new Romulan Starship. Check out this page for more information on the status of the film from producer Rick Berman. UPDATE 19:47: The official STAR TREK web site has announced that during the season premiere of ENTERPRISE on September 18th on UPN, brand new exclusive footage from STAR TREK NEMESIS (the site notes that the title no longer offically includes a colon) will air. Fans can watch the season opener as well as the series premiere of THE TWILIGHT ZONE and then enter a sweepstakes to win a trip to attend the Los Angeles premiere of the film in December. Check out this page for all the info.
