Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Speaking with British publication STAR TREK MONTHLY, ENTERPRISE executive producer Rick Berman says the series' sophomore season will pick up from its successful freshman experience, but with more flair.
"I think we're trying to add a little bit more action and a little bit more humor," he says. "We're trying to get it a little sexier this season. I think we're trying to make Captain Archer a little more of a can-do, take charge Captain... He's had a year of getting his sea legs and I think he's going to be a little more on top of his game in the second season."
Berman says we may see more new alien races in the new season and increased promotion with a revamped UPN eager to capitalize on season one's success.
"I think we're going to be meeting more new Alien races," he told the mag. "But we're really pleased with the way the first season went, so we're going to try to continue to go the same way. With the movie out of the way, I hope to be doing a lot more writing. Brannon [Braga] and I will do a lot more writing together, which i'm very pleased about. And I think with the new UPN, we'll be getting a lot more promotion, which will be very helpful for us, too."
The exec goes on to acknowledge recent comments by TNG and NEMESIS actor Patrick Stewart indicating that he'd like to direct an episode of ENTERPRISE.
"As soon as he gets a breath of air, his directing of ENTERPRISE is something we'd love to find a couple of weeks in his schedule for him to do."
Check out more excerpts at Sci-Fi Pulse in which Rick also discusses the "terror" in STAR TREK NEMESIS.
