Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses, bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices, check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away from home.

    Dept: Star Trek: Nemesis

Patrick Stewart was on hand last Friday at the "ConJose" 60th Annual World Science Fiction Convention in San Jose, CA. The actor promoted his upcoming STAR TREK NEMESIS and X-MEN 2 pictures and debuted a new trailer for the TREK feature, which will run during the season premiere of ENTERPRISE on September 18th.

According to 'Moriarty' at Ain't It Cool News, Stewart says he was surprised by the notion that NEMESIS would be the TNG crew's last hurrah, suggested by the moniker used in the teaser trailer released on June 26th. Moriarty says the actor is very proud of the fourth TNG pic and whether it's the final bow or not, fans should be thoroughly impressed.

AICN also provides a summary of some of the new footage included in the unfinished trailer. Included are scenes of Riker and Troi's wedding in Alaska, Data singing at the wedding reception, Data holding B-9's head on the desert landscape of Kolarus III, and Troi sitting in the Enterprise-E captain's chair.

The trailer emphasizes the "doubling" theme of the movie between Picard and Shinzon, Data and B-9 and the Romulans and Remans with title cards throughout the trailer to this effect. According to the report, "at one point there is even a shot of Picard apparently morphing into the Reman leader," and some final shots from the climax of the film as the Enterprise rams Shinzon's Warbird, the Scimitar. The new trailer ends with Shinzon ordering a "course for Earth, and to destroy everything!"

Expect to see this trailer on September 18th during the season premiere of ENTERPRISE and TrekWeb will bring you the full transcript, still photos and links to download on that night. To read more about Stewart's appearance at ConJose, check out this page.
