Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports today that sci-fi and genre fans will have something to cheer about this season, a year before the market's Home Shopping Network affiliate changes over to UPN.
Station WHSL Channel 46 will become the St. Louis UPN affiliate in April 2003 but until now fans in the city had no outlet to watch the second season of ENTERPRISE this fall. Today the Post-Dispatch reports that the station has struck a deal to air both ENTERPRISE and BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER beginning with their fall premieres. The shows will run Friday nights at 7 PM and 8 PM, with ENTERPRISE debuting Friday, September 20th and BUFFY the following week.
Last season's cliffhanger, "Shockwave," will air September 20th in the 7 PM slot, followed by the season opener. The fifth TREK will take up the 8 PM slot regularly after BUFFY beginning the next Friday.
WHSL's station manager said the deal is a welcome relief. "I felt an obligation to these viewers. I hated to have them miss a whole season before April."
