Don't miss a scene! Pre-order the STAR TREK NEMESIS novelization to support TrekWeb! (0 comments | Add)
Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

UPN debuted the brand new STAR TREK NEMESIS theatrical trailer in its entirety tonight (after a brief preview on Paramount's entertainment magazine program Entertainment Tonight). The trailer runs 1:57 in length and features extensive new footage for the tenth TREK feature, opening December 13th.
In cooperation with MediaTrek, we are pleased to bring you the first photo gallery of the new footage from the trailer as well as links to download and a transcript for those who may not be able to download. The file is in VCD format and 20.2 MB and can be downloaded from MediaTrek. MediaTrek and TrekWeb teamed up to bring you the first INSURRECTION footage four years ago and we're happy to bring it to you again!
Mirrors are also now available at German TREK sites Treknews.de and DailyTrek.de.
Also, please read the following message from MediaTrek:
Dear MediaTrek.com Visitors,
For years MediaTrek.com has been delivering to the web some of the best and exclusive Trek media. All files currently located of our dedicated file server (files.mediatrek.com) may currently have issues downloading until Sept. 25th as that server has outgrown the dedicated 5Mbps line it uses. Yes, this site does well over 1.5 TB (terabytes) of data transfer each month now. I am not even sure Startrek.com does that from what I know.
I pay 98% of this site's expenses out of my own pocket. This is thousands of dollars each year. Only about 2% (or less) is paid for with ad revenue. So, I want to ask all visitors that frequent MediaTrek.com and download material to please help support and pay for the bandwidth you use.
E-mail me at webmasrter@mediatrek.com for how you can contribute to this site's extensive costs. Also, I want to thank the people of the sites that mirror material at this time for MediaTrek.com while files.mediatrek.com gets hammered with everything else.
