Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Final Nielson Media Research numbers for Wednesday's first-run presentation of ENTERPRISE have been released and "Carbon Creek" reveals a mixed performance for the series. Variety reports that the second episode of the sophomore season hauled in an estimated 4.84 million viewers, putting it only marginally below "Shockwave, Part II"'s 4.89m (upgraded from the previously reported 4.87m) number. While the household rating was not provided by the trade, industry-important demographic numbers for the Adults 18-49 category is included, showing that "Creek" managed a slight increase over last week's 2.3/7 with a 2.4/7. While the overall viewship was slightly less than "Shockwave II," final rating numbers for "Creek" may not fall due to the small size of the change.
Meanwhile, UPN's TWILIGHT ZONE did not perform as well in its second showing, garnering 3.54 million viewers and a 6th place finish in the nine o'clock slot. After retaining 87% of ENTERPRISE's audience for its premiere last week, ZONE's overall retention went down to 73% and retention in the Adults 18-49 category declined to 54%. ZONE lost 1.04 million viewers and registered a 35% decline in the A18-49 category week to week and MediaWeek's Marc Berman says, "the prognosis might only get worse for The Twilight Zone once The WB's competing Birds of Prey kicks in."
Elsehwere, TREK vets Rene Echevarria and Rob Doherty may be in a tough battle with their new ABC drama MDs, which placed third for the night with 7.82 million viewers in the ten o'clock slot.

Editor's Note: TrekWeb Service Interruption, Saturday, September 28th. Due to a physical move of our dedicated server, TrekWeb will be offline from 12:00 AM Saturday, September 28th, until 6:00 AM Sunday, September 29th. This change will interfere with accessing the site and sending email to TrekWeb personnel, but will result in improved performance and up-time for the site in the future.
What will you possibly do without us? We're sure you'll think of something -- have a great Saturday!
