Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses, bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices, check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away from home.

    Dept: Star Trek: Nemesis

Speaking briefly today with Sci-Fi Wire, actor Patrick Stewart says the future of THE NEXT GENERATION lies entirely with the fans' ability to turn out in December.

"We've done our part now in all of this," Stewart says he tells fans who ask whether NEMESIS will be the final bow for ST:TNG. "Everyone from Rick Berman to the cast, the writer and the director has played their part. But now it's up to the fans."

"We are opening in the toughest of times. We are surrounded by mega-movies," the actor says, noting stiff competition from the likes of James Bond's DIE ANOTHER DAY, SOLARIS, HARRY POTTER and LORD OF THE RINGS. "So we have, I don't know, five to seven days to make our impact. You know how it is with movies these days. Unless you're a low-budget independent movie that can sit around in a couple of cinemas in New York and Los Angeles for several weeks, if you don't do [big box office] in that first weekend you're dead. I would love to see Nemesis hit a home run that weekend, to use a current image. That, more than anything, is what would promise a further episode of The Next Generation."

Check out the full interview here.
