Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Speaking in the October issue of the UK's STAR TREK MONTHLY, actor John de Lancie says he always liked how 'Q' kept you guessing would be happy to reprise the role.
"He doesn’t have one characteristic or play one emotion," he says in excerpts available at Sci-Fi Pulse. "When people started to write that he was funny all the time, or angry all the time, that never worked for me. I felt it was best when I could play him as a very, very mercurial character. I’d love to find more depth in the mercurialness."
The actor recalls one of his favorite lines from ST:TNG's "Qpid," the 'Robin Hood' episode, that didn't even make the final cut.
"My henchmen said to me, ‘Tomorrow will be a good day. There will be a wedding and an execution!’ and I ad libbed, ‘But I thought all weddings were executions! That didn’t make the final cut, unfortunately."
De Lancie says his favorite TREK installment was the TNG series finale "All Good Things...," which brought his character full circle.
"Even though I did not have much to do, I think the four or five scenes I had were quintessentially ‘Q’ and had an arc to them," he told the mag. "Everything about that episode’s ‘Q’ scenes gave you a sense of the naughtiness and danger and the caring that were all a part of the character. You got a lot of different feelings and facets of ‘Q’ in ‘All Good Things’."
He says there are no plans currently to bring Q back but he knows how he'd like to return.
"If I were to do it again, I’d be interested in hearing people say, ‘He’s all over the map and yet it all seems very justifiable!’ Will I get the opportunity to do that? I don’t know. I’ve not spoken to (executive producers) Rick Berman or Brannon Braga about it, but sure, I’m open to coming back again."
