Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Overnight ratings for Wednesday night are in and according to Zap2it and MediaWeek's Marc Berman, the first-run presentation of ENTERPRISE's fourh episode, "Dead Stop," built significantly on last week's gain. The show, directed by Roxann Dawson, garnered a 5.4/8 in the metered market figures (top 53 markets), a whopping three tenths of a point higher than last week's impressive "Minefield" performance (5.1/8). That episode ended up with the highest final rating for the series since February (story) and was watched by an estimated 5.2 million viewers.
"Dead Stop" beat competitor DAWSON'S CREEK on the WB (4.4/7) for a fifth place finish in the eight o'clock hour and improves to become the highest-rated installment of the new season, coming in five tenths of a point higher than the overnight rating for the season premiere, "Shockwave, Part II" (4.9/8), on September 18th. It's enough for Berman to call the series this week "a relatively powerful player." Expect final numbers for "Stop" to surpass "Minefield" and continue an upward trend for the series, which industry analysts have recently cited as an underperformer (story).
For the night, UPN took the sixth place spot with 4.3/6 behind the WB's 5.4/8, which was helped by the series premiere of BIRDS OF PREY. That show debuted with a 6.4/9 overnight performance and trounced UPN's TWILIGHT ZONE (3.3/5) by 94% according to Berman's Programming Insider. As usual, NBC won the night overall with THE WEST WING (10.7/17) and LAW & ORDER (13.5/23).
