Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

StarTrek.com has published its usual production report, this time for episode ten, "Vanishing Point," which just wrapped production yesterday after a seven day shoot. The episode features the series's first transporter accident-based episode, as Linda Park's 'Hoshi Sato' suffers strange after-effects from a trip through the nascent device.
According to the new tidbits revealed in the report, the Enterprise visits ancient ruins on an alien planet and when Hoshi beams up she begins to think she hasn't been reassembled correctly. The episode featured mostly ship sets, including a green-screen scene in the transporter alcove where the episode's titular vanishing effect will be added optically later.
Other sets utilized for the episode included the Ship's Gym, first eyed in next week's "A Night In Sickbay," as well as the usual Bridge, Sickbay, Engineering and Mess Hall sets. We'll also get a glimpse insight Ensign Sato's quarters this time out.
Written by Rick Berman and Brannon Braga, the episode's guest characters include two pink aliens that Hoshi encounters in the bowels of the ship's "access shafts." Guest cast members for the tenth installment also include Keone Young from DS9's "If Wishes Were Horses" as Hoshi's father via subspace transmission and Morgan Margolis from VOYAGER's "Living Witness" as 'Crewman Baird', who relieves Hoshi at comm for a portion of the episode. Check out the full production report here and check out TrekWeb's mission logs below for a more detailed plot synopsis, first revealed by TrekWeb two weeks ago.
