Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Ain't It Cool News's 'Herc' has returned to reviewing ENTERPRISE and gives tonight's humorous episode, "A Night In Sickbay," three stars. If you're keeping track, that means the episode is "actually worth your valuable time," but the spoiler-laden review says the sexually-charged episode doesn't quite hit on all cylinders.
"We’re treading water a bit. Mixed-gender decon. Comically offended aliens. Fantasy sequences involving T’Pol. Been done," Herc writes. "A lot of the 'Odd Couple' stuff is a little awkward and off-putting, with too many comic misfires."
Despite all this, he says the show's strength lies primarily in the sensual eroticism at play.
"What's good? The scads of sexual tension in general, and the decon-chamber action with T’Pol and Hoshi in particular. Archer’s erotic dreams. And we learn how Porthos got his name."
Herc rates "Sickbay" above "Minefield" and situates his opinion of ENTERPRISE's second season by saying "Carbon Creek" has been the biggest success so far. He also reveals more spoilers for the episode, in particular, Archer's sexual attraction to T'Pol.
"Archer has dirty dreams about T’Pol. Dirty dirty dreams. Involving decon gel and a large umbrella," he says. "Does Archer acknowledge his feelings for T’Pol? Not at first. Does Archer act on his feelings for T’Pol?
That would be telling. We can say, however, that Phlox has advice on the matter."
The episode apparently doesn't stop here, as homosexual innuendo flies in a Decon scene between Hoshi (Linda Park) and T'Pol.
"Who isn’t hot for T’Pol? Check out supposedly hetero Hoshi’s half-smiles and stolen glances as, in the teaser, the half-naked ensign slathers decon gel on her sinewy Vulcan superior."
