Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

The first-run presentation of ENTERPRISE's fifth episode of the season aired on UPN last night and while the series is still performing above its low early season debut, "A Night In Sickbay" proved anything but salubrious for the series as overnight ratings for the series fell by three tenths of a point week-to-week, according to Zap2it and MediaWeek. Garnering a 5.1/8, the episode matches "Minefield" and is still one of the most watched episodes of ENTERPRISE since February.
Declining significantly from last week's impressive 5.4/8 performance by "Dead Stop" (story), which went on to claim a final rating of 3.5/6 and an audience of 5.4 million (story), "Sickbay" still gave UPN a win in the eight o'clock hour over Fox's night of repeats and the WB's DAWSON'S CREEK (both averaging 3.8/6 for the hour), putting it fourth place in the time slot. MediaWeek's Marc Berman notes that ENTERPRISE is 23% below its year-to-date performance (6.6/10 on October 17th, 2001). UPN's TWILIGHT ZONE fell slightly further with a 3.2/5 compared to last week's 3.3/5, prompting Berman to label the remake one of the night's "losers."
NBC took the top spot again with impressive victories for THE WEST WING (10.6/16) and LAW & ORDER (12.7/22). ABC took the #2 position followed by CBS and Fox. The WB narrowly edged out UPN for the fourth spot, averaging a 4.3/6, just one tenth of a point over UPN's 4.2/6 fifth place finish for the night.
