Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Speaking in the new October 2002 issue of Britain's Star Trek Monthly, producer Rick Berman reveals more mild spoilers for three upcoming episodes of ENTERPRISE: "The Communicator," "Singularity" and "Vanishing Point."
"There is a terrific episode where a number of our characters go down in disguise to investigate a pre-warp society," the exec says of the eighth episode, which involves retrieving a piece of Earth technology after Trip leaves it behind on the away mission. "As a result, they have to mount a search and rescue mission to go back and find the communicator, only to discover that it has already been found. And all hell breaks loose down on the surface."
Episode nine, "Singularity," has previously been described by Berman as a "day in the life" episode in which subtle changes occur among the crew: "It's going to take T'pol [Jolene Blalock] and Dr Phlox [John Billingsley] to discover that something is amiss."
Finally, the tenth episode has been likened to TNG's "The Next Phase," but Berman told the magazine it may also bear resemblance to another, perhaps more popular TNG installment: "I guess the only thing I can say about it right now is that it's going to be a very unusual episode that will have certain qualities that are somewhat similar to the episode 'The Inner Light' from 'The Next Generation'," he said. The episode focuses around Hoshi (Linda Park) experiencing strange after effects from a trip through the transporter.
Berman also briefly addresses rumors that STAR TREK NEMESIS has been edited excessively, saying the film will come in at just under two hours and that this is nothing out of the ordinary. "The movie is going to be, with the main titles and the end titles, within five or six minutes under two hours. That's the length of most of the Star Trek films. We had to trim it down to get it to that length, like all Paramount films are trimmed down to get to that length."
He also says that while Wil Wheaton's speaking cameo may have been cut, fans will still be able to glimpse the return of 'Wesley Crusher' in the film. "He is still in the picture... but his dialogue scene didn't make it. He had two very cute little lines in the movie that didn't make it."
For more of Berman's latest remarks, check out excerpts available at Sci-Fi Pulse.
