Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

The Comics Continuum website just posted the first photo of TNG star Patrick Stewart as 'Professor Charles Xavier' in the upcoming X-MEN 2 sequel.
Speaking at a recent X-MEN 2 cast press conference in Vancouver, B.C., Stewart revealed some notes as to the nature of his character in the sequel. "I would liken him to Achilles because in every sense he's perfect, except for one little tiny flaw - which I can't talk about (laughs). He remains, as he was in the first film, brilliant, intelligent, compassionate, adorable, sexy (laughs), understanding, forceful, womanly, manly.."
When asked who would be a better leader, Charles Xavier or Jean-Luc Picard, Stewart said "If I were to answer honestly, I would dismiss both of those and say I think perhaps the best leader would be the breakout star of the last movie (laughs). [..] Can I just add one thing to what I said ? I would like to make it absolutely clear that both Jean Luc Picard and Professor Charles Xavier could kick Captain Kirk's butt." Then, Stewart asked X2 director Bryan Singer to stand up and show what he was wearing and Singer revealed a STAR TREK NEMESIS T-shirt. (Of course, Singer has a cameo in NEMESIS as a Enterprise-E bridge officer).
You can read the full transcript of the press conference here and here at Comics Continuum. Plus, you can find 8 new photos from the movie, including the first looks at 'Lady Deathstrike' (Kelly Hu) and 'Colossus' (Daniel Cudmore), at Entertainment Weekly.com".
