Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Actress Marina Sirtis spoke with the UK's Star Trek Monthly magazine for its latest issue (via Sci-Fi Pulse), revealing small tidbits about her role in the film and expressing satisfaction with 'Deanna Troi's contribution for this tenth film.
"John Logan, bless his heart, was a big Troi fan, so he's written me a nice role in this movie," she says. "Troi is basically the catalyst in the denouement of the movie because of the relationship that she has with Shinzon [Tom Hardy]. I actually have something to do with the plot this time."
Sirtis also talks about the marriage of Troi to Jonathan Frakes's 'William Riker' and says she's glad another TNG relationship didn't pan out.
"I'm just thanking god that it wasn't Troi and Worf [Michael Dorn]. I would have killed myself. I would have," he jests. "I never liked that relationship. We pretend it never happened. We can't refer to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine because the Star Trek The Next Generation people might not neccessarily have watched DS9. I know Michael Dorn plays a lot of stuff, but I think it ends up on the cutting room floor. He's subtexting his ass off!"
Sirtis also talks about a particuarly sexy shot of her in the film, hoping it'll draw in audiences, and the future of the TNG franchise here. You can read the full interview in Issue 98 of Star Trek Monthly, now out in the UK.
