Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home.

The Toronto Sun (via Canoe.ca) just posted a feature on an exclusive X-MEN 2 set visit, in which TNG star Patrick Stewart (who again returns to the role of 'Professor Charles Xavier') revealed some spoilers about the plot of the film. According to the article, the plot of the sequel involves bad-guy General Stryker (Brian Cox) who invades Xavier's school and takes prisoners. Magneto escapes from his plastic prison, and he too finds himself in Stryker's crosshairs. The result is that Xavier and Magneto joins forces to repel Stryker, who controls the Sentinels, giant mutant-huting cyborgs.
Stewart confirms that four Sentinels appears in X-MEN 2, adding "The peril is a good deal higher on this movie. [Strycker] is a really really bad guy. He makes Magneto look like one of us. You'll see the four cyborgs, three characters from the comic book, and another character who only has a number, who has an impact on Xavier's story because he's an ex-pupil."
"You know, I'm not sure what scene we're doing," says Stewart, who had yet to look at the callsheet. "I'm either still in Stryker's world or we might be moving into what is know as Dark Cerebro -- which is umm..." he pauses, grinning, realizing he's spilling again. "Dark Cerebro ! I don't think we need say any more about it."
