Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

The sixth and seventh seasons of the STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION will arrive on DVD this December (3rd, 31st) and each set will include two additional featurettes available only to customers of Best Buy or its affiliates.
In addition to the three featurettes found on the first five season sets -- MISSION OVERVIEW, DEPARTMENTAL BRIEFING: PRODUCTION and MEMORABLE MISSIONS -- and three other standard features for each season, season six will come bundled for Best Buy consumers with SELECT HISTORICAL DATA: SEASON 6, which includes an interview with composer Jay Chattaway about the music for "Birthright," an interview with LeVar Burton about "Aquiel" and a segment with sound designer Bill Wistrom on making door sounds. Which of these interviews will be new or archival is not specified.
The second bonus disc feature will be INSIDE THE STARFLEET ARCHIVES: SETS AND PROPS, "An in-depth look inside the Star Trek vaults with set director Jim Mees, prop master Alan Sims and John Dwyer," according to the retailer.
The other standard features on the season six set will be:
- Special Crew Profile: Lt. Commander Data
- Departmental Briefing: Year Six — Dan Curry Profile
- Bold New Directions
For season seven, the Best Buy bonus disc will include SPECIAL PROFILES, featuring interviews with John de Lancie ('Q'), Jonathan Del Arco ('Hugh') and Majel Barett-Roddenberry ('Lwaxana Troi'). The bonus disc will also house DRESSING THE FUTURE, including an interview with costume designer Robert Blackman and a wardrobe department tour with Marina Sirtis.
The other standard features on the Season 7 set include:
- A Captain's Tribute
- The Making of "All Good Things..."
- Starfleet Moments and Memories
