Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Dept: Deep Space Nine
The official STAR TREK web site has announced that as speculated recently, STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE will beam down on DVD beginning with season one on February 25th, 2003. Each season will then be released subsequently every other month. The episodes have been remastered in 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound and the sets will include all new retrospective featurettes, just as their TNG companions have this year.
The season six and seven sets of ST:TNG will, in fact, include a trailer for the new DS9 sets. Those packages arrive December 3rd and 31st respectively. The list of special features for the first season DVD set is as follows:
- Deep Space Nine: A Bold Beginning
- Crew Dossier: Kira Nerys
- Michael Westmore's Aliens: Season One
- Secrets of Quark's Bar
- Alien Artifacts: Season One
- Deep Space Nine Sketchbook
- Deep Space Nine Chronicles
- Section 31 Hidden Files
- Photo Gallery.
Whether some of these features are actually grouped together, is not entirely clear. The announcement also includes the first look at the packaging for the season one set.
You may reach the original story and see another image here. You may also pre-order the TNG seasons six and seven sets now.
