Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away

The Wednesday print edition of USA
Today has published the final ratings for the week of November 11-17.
UPN's ENTERPRISE tied FOX's Firefly for 6th place with 4.5 million
viewers and a 3.0/5 rating and share. "The Communicator's" 4.5 million
viewers tied last season's "Fusion" for the least watched episode of the
series to date. The numbers for "The Communicator" mark a decline of at least 300,000 viewers from the prior week's "The Seventh," making it the new least-watched episode of the season. The downturn may be worrisome for UPN since the poor performance of "Fusion" was partially attributable to running opposite of The Grammy Awards; no
such heavyweight competition for "The Communicator"... unless you count
the 4.8 million viewers who helped the WB's Dawson's Creek beat ENTERPRISE for the first time in weeks.
Unfortunately, this is also the second straight viewership decline for the latest TREK during the November Sweeps ratings period and the third straight decline overall (beginning with "Marauders"). In the year-to-year period, ENT averaged 7.25 million viewers during the first two weeks of November Sweeps, each episode declining until an upswing by November 28th's "Cold Front." By comparison, the first two airings in the period this season have averaged 4.65 million viewers.
However, some order was restored as Alias reclaimed the top slot from that
WB up-start, Smallville. As per usual, FOX's John Doe and The WB's Charmed
followed in the #3 and # 4 slots. UPN's Buffy the Vampire Slayer surged ahead
(or, really, stood still while ENT fell back) to secure the # 5 slot. The
WB's Angel has a mini-recovery this week with its "Reign of Fire" episode
featuring icky sex, fire and brimstone (otherwise known as the Apocalypse),
adding 700,000 viewers over the abysmal performance of the last two weeks.
The WB's Birds of Prey showed signs of falling further back with only 4.0
million viewers and a 9th place finish. A UPN show brought up the rear, as
usual.
Top Ranked Science Fiction/Fantasy Genre Network Series
November 11-17 (based on number of viewers)
1) Alias (ABC) - 5.9/9 (9.7 million)
2) Smallville (WB) - 4.3/7 (7.4 million)
3) John Doe (FOX) - 4.0/7 (6.8 million)
4) Charmed (WB) - 3.1/5 (5.1 million)
5) Buffy the Vampire Slayer (UPN) - 3.1/5 (4.8 million)
6) Enterprise (UPN) - 3.0/5 (4.5 million)
6) Firefly (FOX) - 2.9/5 (4.5 million)
8) Angel (WB) - 2.6/4 (4.3 million)
9) Birds of Prey (WB) - 2.5/4 (4.0 million)
10) The Twilight Zone (UPN) - 1.9/3 (2.9 million)
For the week, NBC finally secured its first win of the season with an
average of 13.6 million viewers, followed by CBS' 12.7 million. The streak
remained alive and well this week for UPN (look out Joe Dimaggio) as they
finished in last place again with an average of 4.2 million viewers; 500, 000
behind The WB.
NEXT WEEK: Whatever happened to ABC's premiere of Dinotopia?

Ratings? who cares

Ratings go up and down. What's the big deal? You seem quick to blame it on the quality of Enterprise, but basically it's people who fail to value it highly enough. It has nothing to do with quality. Today there's computer games to attract youngsters like never before. There's all kinds of sci-fi series on and off the air, to attract people. Apparently many people never gave Star Trek a sacred place in their heart. They just saw TNG because it was unique at the time, and many was quick to jump on the X-files wagon to get what they always wanted: Dark mystery occultism. Forget about these people, I don't care about them. Now Star Trek gets the attention it's going to have ever after. Live with it! Enjoy it for what it's worth! Star Trek is GREAT for a true fan.

ENT getting at least 4th spot on most every episode this season and you guys think that Trek is dying? Singuality is going to get just as good of a spot.
I really laugh at the mindless Trek fans that think if it doesn't get the same ratings as TNG, then it sucks, period.
1) You guys do realize this is the 21st century right?
2) You guys do realize there is more original shows out and more competition?
3) As we slowly move in to time where these technology seem closer and closer, the need to watch these types of shows becomes less and less.
4) This isn't the 1980's anymore.
Nuff said...watch it...like it? Fine. hate it? We don't care.

Whatever happened to ABC's premiere of Dinotopia?
Last I heard it was scheduled for Nov 28th, which is the day after November sweeps end. Either the show was not ready or ABC does not feel very confident about it to schedule it during the sweeps.

How far I have sunk, that I find myself HOPING that Enterprise gets cancelled... After years of praying for more Trek on the air (the dark years, 1970-1986), now I hope they just take the lame horse that is Trek and put it out of it's misery.

Dorn has probably had enough after 16 Years non-stop Trek.
Troi would be there as counselor of course - I missed her off for some strange reason :/
Forgot LaForge too.
Give them 5 years off though first..

How would you rate the latest ENT episode, THE CATWALK, on a scale from 1 (bad) to 10 (excellent) in comparison to the best and the worst episodes of all previous Star Trek episodes?
