Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Patrick Stewart speaks in the new issue of SFX Magazine about STAR TREK NEMESIS, saying the film is broad and sweeping, with a final act that may tug at the heart strings.
"Certainly the second time around I saw more in the movie than I had even realised was there," the actor told Ed Gross (via The Great Link). "There's so much going on in this movie; so much that's interesting and unusual, so much detail in it and so many huge, bold strokes of action and character and changes in mood. I think that the range of mood is one of the great things about this film. It's light, it's frothy, it's frivolous and playful at times. And it's quite shockingly disturbing and dark at others."
Stewart says the end of the film has the potential to be truly emotional for the audience: "It becomes very intense and I hope that a lot of fans will find that they'll be reaching for their hankies. I've got to tell you, I saw this with my agent, who's a very sophisticated and worldly man, and about 20 minutes before the end of the movie he grabbed my arm and said, ‘You're not going to die, are you?'"
He says he's proud to be a part of an action film that deals with serious issues and builds its story around their treatment: "...Because it's Star Trek and because this is the way we always worked on TNG in particular we can never just tell a story. Every aspect of the story overlaps and interconnects so that an issue would seem to be discussed from many different points of view In this case, it is what is the nature of a creature and how much is he influenced by his environment? How much of it is genetic? How much of it can he change? How much control do we have, in fact, over our lives? Is it possible for a human being to turn himself or herself around and become a different person, or are we for all time trapped; caught in whatever our early experiences have made us?"
"[Laughs], I know that that makes it sound like a very heavy film, It's not, it's an action movie. And yet because it's Star Trek, it has all of this, which, let's face it, a lot of action movies simply don't have."
