Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

Dept: Star Trek: Nemesis
Speaking with Ian Spelling for the current issue of DreamWatch, Jonathan Frakes says it was a pleasure working with long-time friend Ron Perlman for a climactic NEMESIS sequence.
"The best part of the fight was that we were dropped into this holding system where they fly you above the set," Frakes explains. "I was rolling around with Ron, and Ron and I had done a play with each other right before he got 'Beauty And The Beast' and I got Star Trek. We were lying there sweating, wired up and saying we were both way to old to be action heros. It was great to be with someone that I knew. I think that sequence actually is going to be pretty hot because the stuntmen worked their asses of to make us look good, as they always do."
Frakes, who directed the previous two TREK outings, also says he was pleased that writer John Logan finally saw fit to get 'Riker' and 'Troi' together.
"I'm thrilled. Marina [Sirtis] and I have always kept the relationship alive, even in seasons [of The Next Generation] where the writers didn't seem to realise that our characters had any kind of history together. As a result of that, I think the fan base was always aware that this was a relationship that needed to be addressed, and actually in some of the research Paramount did, they realised this was something that hadn't been fully investigated. So that and our persistence in keeping it alive helped make that happen."
