Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses, bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original Borg Incursion. We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! UPN's decision to air the first-run presentation of ENTERPRISE's "Vanishing Point" a day before the Thanksgiving holiday proved a losing one, as the episode scored the show's lowest rating and smallest audience ever. With just a 2.5/4, "Point" becomes the lowest-rated ENT episode ever, a title previously held by this season's "The Communicator" and "Carbon Creek" (3.0/5).

"Point" saw a one million viewer drop week-to-week, garnering only 3.8 million viewers, due likely to pre-Thanksgiving travel. This type of decline is not unexpected, as both last season's ENTERPRISE and VOYAGER's seventh season registered significant pre-Thanksgiving plummets.

The November Sweeps period also delivered unhappy news for UPN, dropping 11% on the year-to-year period overall and 15% in coveted 18-49 demographics. Rival WB increased its numers by 17% during the period, however.

UPN's troubles have not gone unnoticed, with analysts speaking in TV Guide this week calling ENTERPRISE "lost in space" and UPN programming chief Dawn Ostroff promising sexier, more action-packed episodes in a retooling effort to curb further declines.

ENTERPRISE reached a season two peak with October's "A Night In Sickbay" garnering 6.26 million viewers, the largest audience since February. But numbers have steadily fallen ever since, hovering between 4.5 and 5.0 million viewers before this Thanksgiving calamity.
