Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

The first-run presentation of ENTERPRISE's "Precious Cargo" returned to mid-November overnight ratings levels with a 4.5/7, according to MediaWeek's Programming Insider. Matching "The Communicator" and coming in three tenths of a point below the last new episode to air before the slaughter of "Vanishing Point" the day before Thanksgiving (story), "Singularity" (4.8), last night's second-to-last new episode before the Holiday hiatus ranks below "The Seventh" (4.7/7) and most of the second season, including "Shockwave II," "Carbon Creek," "Minefield," "Dead Stop," "A Night In Sickbay," and "Marauders."
"Vanishing Point" remains the series' lowest rated episode, garnering a 2.5/4 and just 3.8 million viewers on the day before Thanksgiving--traditionally a losing night for television. For the night, ENTERPRISE beat last night's DAWSON'S CREEK handily (3.9/6) and NBC took the night with strong WEST WING and LAW & ORDER showings.

They don't have the show timelined to show the formation of the Federation. In the latest flop episode Archer references it being 2152. The Federation wasn't formed until sometime in the 2160's (it was referenced in the manual for their latest game SFC III.) Since a year in real time equals a year of show time we won't get to see the formation and get all the warm fuzzies we want from it.
In my oh so very humble opinion they should have set the show up to form the federation by the fifth season and then have the last two show the dificulties the federation experienced in its first two years.
Of course the show is losing viewers. I've said it before and I'll say it again. This show should be retitled "Voyager: Alpha Quadrant."

ENT is turning out a real c0ck up. It's getting low ratings in my own mind and I don't even have to see it. The series is making very little sense and is tarnishing itself in my view. They might as well stop now, pretend it never happened, and start fresh at the drawing board (wrt previous poster) of what STAR TREK is.

no budget, no advertising, no gimmick, no effort.
it's a dark and gloomy series with "youngen" actors (except Bakula) that haven't had a chance (or are not given a chance) to show their true colors.
They also went wrong by making it an episode set in the PAST, what they should have done was set something in the future, about the same time that Nemesis was running.
How cool would it have been if on ENT (the future fantasy, not the real one, and of course, not enterprise, but another vessel) they had Late Season 1 and Season 2 with some sort of a Romulan build up and build up with Shizon which led to Enterprise (Picard, etc.) taking charge (RE: Nemesis), would have been a chance way to cross-reference and cross-advertise both the series and the movie.
But by having the movies set in the future and having the series in the past, it just doesn't work and frankly, it's time to go back to the drawing boards.

and I'll say it again. Time for some new blood behind the scenes to get this franchise a much deserved kick in the ass.

How would you rate the latest ENT episode, THE CATWALK, on a scale from 1 (bad) to 10 (excellent) in comparison to the best and the worst episodes of all previous Star Trek episodes?
