Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away

Despite advertisements for ENTERPRISE in front of Loews Cineplex showings of STAR TREK NEMESIS last weekend, UPN's first-run presentation of "The Catwalk" inched down yet again in the overnights. Coming in with a 4.2/7 rating, three-tenths of a percentage point lower than the overnight performance for last week's "Precious Cargo" (4.5/7, story), according to Zap2it, this puts "The Catwalk" at the bottom of the season two barrel, above only "Vanishing Point," which aired the day before Thanksgiving and garnered a 3.4/5 overnight. UPN was fifth on a night dominated by NBC, ABC and CBS.
You can reach the original Zap2it report here.
The final ratings for last week's "Precious Cargo" have been released, with that episode watched by 4.67 million viewers for a final rating of 3.1. This ranks even with "Singularity" on November 20th and puts "Cargo" ahead of only "Carbon Creek" (3.0), "The Communicator" (3.0) and "Vanishing Point" (2.5), although "Creek" was watched by more viewers, 4.84 million.
In the Adults 18-49 demographic, last week's ENTERPRISE tied "Singularity" and "The Communicator" with a 2.2/6, the lowest this season other than "Vanishing Point."

This is kinda getting scarry. True, UPN is the kinda network where "Lower" ratings look "OK" to them, but as I'm sure you all know, had this show landed on FOX, or even the big 3 Networks in the US, it probably would be canceled by now.
Even still, if the ratings keep dropping, I wonder if paramount will start looking for answers, or will the just can Enterprise at the end of the year.
I have to work on Wednesday nights, so I always tape the show and watch it later. Last year, I'd eagerly get home and watch the new ep right after work. This year, I've got the shows taped, but haven't gotten around to watching them, and it doesn't really bother me that I'm not watching them.
I think they need to shake the show up...They've got really good characters, and the prequil idea could work great. What happened to the Temporal Cold War? Why is the Federation going to come into existance 9 years from the point we're at in the show now. Where do the Andorians, and Vulcans fit into this? What of the Romulan War which Trek Lore says happened right before the founding of the Federation? What of all the other races that will join the Federation before the days of Kirk? And then if that's not enought, Why can't we have some flashbacks to when Archer first joined Starfleet. We know Starfleet hasn't existed for very long, why did it get created in the first place? Did it just come out of the Navy or what? More still, Character Development. Where did our people come from, develop personalities for them, focus of Phlox, something tells me he could be interesting. And for pete's sake please give Mayweather something to do, of get rid of the character!
It seems to me that all the crap I just laid out could span quite a number of episodes.
They need to realize that the "Kidnapping and Hostage situation of the Week" episodes are getting old. There are only so many ways you can abduct someone and make it interesting!!!
Enterprise has potential. Frankly, from it's start so did Voyager. Please let someone at paramount see that and have Enterprise live up to it. Cause UPN will honestly only tolerate ratings drops to a certian extent. After a failing movie, if Enterprise fails to, you can kiss Star Trek Goodbye, probably permanately. Is that what the Fans really want?

Just got back from seeing NEMESIS and was sadly disappointed. I think they finally broke the odd-even curse, and not for the better. The direction seemed fine, but the script was extremely weak and the pacing was way, WAY off. Not enough interaction between the TNG regulars and much too much time spent between Picard and Shinzon, which just bored me to tears. There were maybe no more than 20 people at the 7pm screening I was at, and no one else seemed too pleased, either... an all-around muted response. If my favorite even-TREKs are II, IV, FC, and VI, then NEM would have to follow III and TMP, with V and GEN rounding out my list. I consider myself still to be a fan, but kind of gave up on new TREK after the 2nd season of DS9 (which everyone seems to say got better). VOYAGER and ENTERPRISE just don't do it for me. I'm all for a TREK series/film moratorium for the next 6-10 years... it worked for the James Bond series, the new STAR WARS films, and hey, even the original TREK (the 10-year gap between TOS and TMP). I've honestly tried watching ENT, but I find it very bland and boring, and the very concept of T'Pol simply insults my intelligence (her admittedly hot bod would have had me hooked when I was just hitting puberty, but at 30 years old, I can see right through the reason she's there in the first place). I guess I'm one of these fans who'd like to see Berman & Braga take a hike, the series put on hold for awhile and come back rejuvenated, under the guidance of someone else (what's Peter David doing these days?), maybe in the guise of a retro/camp/remake TV series, with new actors in the Kirk, Spock, et al roles and special effects and sets similar to the '60s series, but slightly streamlined to bring it into the 21st century. Anyone out there with similar views, or am I speaking sacrilege?

I was at LotR last night so I didn't watch the ep. Glad it was good, but could explain part of why the ratings fell again.

I agree in that this episode is more along the lines of what they need to do. I think they got it right last night.
The second season of Enterprise is starting to feel more like Trek than the first one....anyone with me on that?

I wonder if more viewers may tune in if the title were changed to Star Trek:Enterprise. The title would stand out more and be more recognizable.

I agree with the people in the forum on the review of the episode. One of the best episodes so far.
This is the kind of sci-fi problem that might effect real astronauts on say a Mars mission with a strong solar storm.
This would have been a great episode for new viewers. Its a shame the BB gambit is failing. The only thing that may save Enterprise is that UPN needs a show to stay on the air or Paramount's loyalty to Star Trek(If it exists).

How would you rate the latest ENT episode, THE CATWALK, on a scale from 1 (bad) to 10 (excellent) in comparison to the best and the worst episodes of all previous Star Trek episodes?
