Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

The Michael Piller-produced USA Network genre series THE DEAD ZONE continued to break cable television ratings records with its second season premiere Sunday, January 5th. According to MediaWeek, the premiere episode "Valley of the Shadow" garnered a 3.2 household rating and a 2.2 among adults 18-49 and 25-54 Sunday night. This translates to 4.1 million viewers, making it the most-watched second season premiere of any basic cable original series. Its debut episode back in June of last year holds the record for the most-watched series premiere for a basic cable drama.
THE DEAD ZONE is based on the Stephen King novel and employs several STAR TREK alums. Principally, the show was created and developed by Michael Piller and his son, Shawn Piller. Piller, Sr. co-created both DEEP SPACE NINE and VOYAGER after running the NEXT GENERATION writing staff since its third season and guiding that series to a Best Dramatic Series Emmy nomination in 1994. Piller also wrote 1998's INSURRECTION. He executive produces THE DEAD ZONE with partner Lloyd Seagan. Shawn Piller contributed the story for the TNG episode "Journey's End" and the VOYAGER installments "The Q and the Grey" and "Death Wish"; he is a producer on THE DEAD ZONE. The series also stars Nicole de Boer of DS9 fame ('Ezri Dax') as the female lead opposite Anthony Michael Hall.
Read more at MediaWeek. See also TheDeadZone.net for more information. TDZ airs Sunday nights at 10p ET on USA Network.

"most-watched second season premiere of any basic cable original series"
If you add "on a Sunday night in Janaury at 7 pm" it could probably hold on to the record for all time.

How would you rate the latest ENT episode, DAWN, on a scale from 1 (bad) to 10 (excellent) in comparison to the best and the worst episodes of all previous Star Trek episodes?
