Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

The official STAR TREK web site reports that the Visual Effects Society has nominated ENTERPRISE in two categories for its first-annual Visual Effects Society Awards, a new annual event meant to honor excellence for visual effects in feature films, television, commercials and music videos.
"Shockwave, Part I" is nominated in the "Best Visual Effects in a Television Series" category, naming visual effects producer Dan Curry as well as supervisor Ronald B. Moore and coordinator Elizabeth Castro. The first season finale will go up aganist FIREFLY and the DINOTOPIA mini-series in that category. Director Roxann Dawson's "Dead Stop" is also nominated, this time for "Best Models and Miniatures in a Televised Program, Music Video or Commercial," and the work of modelmakers John Teska, Koji Kuramura, Pierre Drolet and Sean Scott. ENT will face the mini-series STEPHEN KING'S ROSE RED and a Gatorade drink commercial here.
The VESA will take place February 19th at a black-tie event at the Los Angeles Skirball Cultural Center. For more information check out the VES web site or the original StarTrek.com story.

Well done Enterprise! :) Who actually gets thw award - Paramount, the show, the Enterprise staff or the company that does the FX.
I still think the shot they did where Archer sees how 29th Century Starfleet navigate time was mouth dropping. Effects like that in Nemesis would have been COOOL!!!!! For starters they can use stuff like that as Alien Operating Systems in the future instead of everyone in the Galaxy happening to have touch screens!

How would you rate the latest ENT episode, "Dawn," in comparison to the best and the worst of all previous STAR TREK episodes?
