Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

The latest issue of Cinescape magazine, out in the U.S., features a new interview with TNG star Patrick Stewart, in which he confirmed his interest in bringing the acclaimed TRANSMETROPOLITAN comic book series to the big screen.
"I'm sitting here looking at a collection of TRANSMETROPOLITAN comic books as I speak to you," Stewart told journalist Chris Wyatt. "I think it's a brilliant piece of work."
The comic book series, created by fan-favorite writer Warren Ellis, focuses on a character named 'Spider Jerusalem', a reluctant journalist who must come back to the futuristic city of Transmetropolitan.
"TRANSMETROPOLITAN is mature and funny and savage and critical," remarks Stewart. "I've admired it for a number of years. I think it's an outstanding piece of work. My company has been working with Mr. Warren Ellis for some time in connection with the adaptation of TRANSMETROPOLITAN [to the big screen]."
In the film version, it's expected that Stewart would co-produce as well as take the role of 'Jerusalem'. "The role [of 'Spider Jerusalem'] is complex and deeply interesting," says Stewart. "It's a role that any actor would be interested in approaching."

I love Transmetropolitian, it is a great, great comic. It was very well written and drawn. It ended it's 60 issue run this summer but if anyone is interested you can buy TPB's and I think PAtrick Stewart does an intoroduction for one. I don't see Stewart playing Spider. Spider is younger and very violent and fast moving.

In case you haven't been reading Transmetropolitan, it's one of the best books out. Stewart as Spider?! That I have to see.
