Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

The official STAR TREK web site published its production report for episode eighteen of the season, tentatively scheduled to air on UPN March 19th. "The Crossing" involves alien possession of the NX-01 crew's bodies, as exploring noncorpeal entities called "wisps" enter and exist the characters throughout the show, causing curious behavior all around. The aliens profess harmlessness, but of course, Archer isn't entirely convinced that something awry isn't afoot.
The episode took place on standing sets, according to the production report, including the remaining sets from "The Catwalk." No major guest stars will popular "The Crossing," but plenty of Enterprise extras and two named crewmembers from previous episodes will return. Joseph Will as 'Rostov' ("Vox Sola," "Two Days and Two Nights")and Matthew Kaminsky as 'Cunningham' ("Singularity").
Veteran David Livingston helmed the installment from a script by Rick Berman and Brannon Braga, from a story by both producers and story editor Andre Bormanis. For more of the report check out this page.

What kind of episode would make you guys happy? I have beena fan of Enterprise from day one and I have heard over and over again taht you fans wish it would be more like TOS and so on. When there are quality episodes you praise Enterprise and when there are more cliched ones, you trash Enterprise.
It seems like when there are episdes done in similar fashion to that of TOS, you tend to praise the episode.
Now, I read a preview for an upcoming epsides which I thought sounded really cool, which had similar properties to some really good TOS episodes and all I hear is you guys trashing it already.
I seriously doubt ANY episode will satisfy many of you "so-call" Star Trek fans.

The episode does sound rather cliche type but I dont think the episode Power Play was bad because the way it was executed was done well ie the way the story developed. Just because the basic storyline sounds cliche doesnt mean itll be bad, its the way the storyline develops that makes a good episode not its summary.

My goodness, just when I thought Enterprise was making some progress, the writers serve up this latest story. I don't see how this episode can be anything other than a rehash of so many past stories showing a Starfleet crew acting out of character. It does nothing to promote confidence that the series will go in any direction other than down the road of mediocrity.
This show keeps teasing us with possibilities only to abandon them and let them lie dormant while serving up this crap more often than not.
Please, please, someone hear my plea. Return to the premise of Enterprise -- show us the TCW, the formation of the Federation, the reasons Earth rose to powerful political and military heights by James T. Kirk's time, and so on. Stop, please stop, giving us recycled storylines.
I like Enterprise and want to like it more. But the producers continue to give us such a bad product that they insult our intelligence and practically dare us to abandon the show and the franchise.
Who agrees?
I'm through with my rant now.

for all the comparisons to TNG's 'Power Play' or TOS's 'The Lights Of Zetar'.
If I interpret the earlier 'OH YAWN' post correctly, then I may have to reluctantly agree with X-Drone1701. I personally hate it when people pre-judge an episode/movie without seeing the full production, but I think most fans are looking for episodes that either provide character development or some progress into the development of the Federation.
There's a chance that this ep will show some character development but it may just allow the actors to stretch out of their roles by acting like someone else. Maybe Mayweather will be possessed by the spirit of one of the "two snaps up" movie reviewers from 'In Living Color'. That may showcase Montgomery's acting ability (OK, no snide remarks), but it doesn't gives us any more insight into his ENT character. TOS's 'Turnabout Intruder' allowed Shatner to act like a maniacal bitch, letting us know what Dr. Lester was like, but it didn't do much for poor Kirk trapped in a woman's body in the last ep of the series.
I think ENT now takes place in 2152 or even 3. If the Federation is going to be 'born' in 2161 then they need to get going on this. Every third ep or so should show some kind of progress one way or the other. Earth acting as the referee for the Vulcan/Andorian tension is good, but I'd like to see the Tellarites appear by the end of the season as well.
A lot can change on ENT in the next few years (if it lasts) so I'm still optimistic that the show will get better as it goes along.
I think a cool idea would be for Starfleet to launch a few more ships and rename them as Enterprise Class vessels.
Since there would be more ships, each one would get its own representative symbol or patch. The ENT crew could get the TOS delta shield, starting the tradition that all Enterprise crews (and eventually all of Starfleet) would wear that symbol. Just a thought :)

How would you rate the latest ENT episode, "Dawn," in comparison to the best and the worst of all previous STAR TREK episodes?
