Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced
players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the
turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses,
bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near
the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original
Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS
Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all
interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is
superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we
will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices,
check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away
from home. (0 comments | Add)

UPN is developing another new science fiction series, this time from former NBC movies and minis chief Linda DeKoven, now on her own as DeKoven Entertainment. Along with Robert Halmi and Hallmark Entertainment, DeKoven is developing JUGGERNAUT, a sci-fi drama involving a group of "warriors" corralled together by (guess who) the United Nations to fight off alien invasion of the Earth.
The pilot is being written by TALES FROM THE CRYPT writer Scott Nimerfrom, who also wrote for the netlet's recent sci-flop, SPECIAL UNIT 2. Nimerfro also penned "Jetrel" in STAR TREK: VOYAGER's debut season. TV movie writer/director Nick Willing (ALICE IN WONDERLAND, JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS) is set to direct the pilot and produce the series if UPN picks it up.
UPN has had mixed success with science fiction series since its inception, with only VOYAGER having significant staying power. INVISIBLE MAN was short-lived, THE SENTINEL saw waning ratings after a couple years, and the recent SPECIAL UNIT 2 failed to draw any realistic audience. You can read more about DeKoven's new projects at Variety.

UPN decides to run this pile of shit, yet passes on picking up either Farscape or Firefly? No wonder that network is going bye-bye...

Invisable Man was Sci-Fi channel and First Run Syndication.
If UPN wants another Sci-Fi series why not pick up a little show called FARSCAPE that already has a built in audience???
