"It's almost like they've put epaulets on me or something," Combs told TrekWeb about his character's evolution. "I'm sort of the commander in the field, as opposed to off on a raid somewhere. That's good; it gives me a little more stature."

He continues, "This episode just goes to show you that the Andorians are right… No wonder we're so suspicious of everything. It's hard to trust.”

He says he enjoyed working with other TREK guest veteran Suzie Plakson ('K'Ehleyr'), who plays a female Andorian subordinate.

"We had a good time, and I'd like to go back and do some more. [It’s a] February Sweeps show, so there's a lot of action, and it's the first time I think that we see an Andorian ship.”
