Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses, bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices, check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away from home.

Much-maligned TREK actor Wil Wheaton spoke today about his first leading role in years in the movie THE BOOK OF DAYS, airing tonight on the PAX cable channel at 8p ET.

"This movie carries a very important distinction in my career history: it's the first lead I've had in ages, and it's the first movie I've done since deciding to focus more on writing and my family than acting and the hollow pursuit of fame," the actor wrote at his official web site.

Despite what he calls some "badly written courtroom drama" in the middle, Wheaton says he's satisfied, if nervous about his work in the picture.

"I feel very confident in the work I did on the day. I'm sure I'll find things in my performance that I don't like, and I bet many of the things I find will be found only by me. Some people say that I'm ripping myself off when I do that, but if I don't look for those flaws, I never improve."

You can read more at WilWheaton.net or find a brief description of the movie here.

Let's stop RIGHT NOW with the Wil Wheaton bashing. There's a lot of fans who did and do like his character on TNG and the infantile nature of the postings on these boards is often infuriating. Get a life, folks!

The big project he's promoting is a Pax movie

What's next, selling lemonade from his own stand. PAX isn't a network, it's just a collection of NBC owned channels dedicated to showing 'Wholesome Entertainment' a term that seems to mean reruns of TV series from the 80's, reruns of Touched by an Angel and its own occasional mediocre program about angels or miracles or god or attempts to create its own movie of week which tends to be sub-par even by movie of the week standard. And that appears to be what Wheaton is promoting.

Just sad.

And for those complaining that Paramount gave him a raw deal, raise your hands everybody who wants to see more of Wesley. Right.

Paramount didn't treat him right

Wil got a raw deal from the suits at Paramount. They've shafted him several times with regard to Star Trek. I hope Wil does well and makes a decent living as an artist.

The Wesley bashing will start here.. but Let me be first to say, good for you, Wil. You had rough days there at the end of TNG, but I think you could find a niche again. You wer ebrilliant in "First Duty" and of course "Stand By Me"
